Small groups are an efficient way to meet the needs of multiple students at a time. Typically there will be multiple groups going on at one time. Examples of groups are: friendship group, social skills group, anxiety group, leadership development group, impulse control group, changing families group, and feelings management group. If you would like your student to be involved in a small group, feel free to contact me at the school or fill out the contact form here.
Short-term, solution-focused counseling is available. In the school setting, it is not meant to take the place of therapeutic counseling. Examples of topics in a typical setting include social skills, conflict resolution skills, calming strategies, anger management, etc. If the student is in need of longer term counseling services, we will work together to find the best possible resources to serve your child.
